Further to my earlier message on 10.4.2014, attached please find the 3rd Announcement (Flyer) on the Symposium Cum Exhibition "Quiet Construction: State-of-The-Art Management & Practices", for your perusal and follow-up.  In view of the receiving requests and given the coming Easter vacation, I am pleased to inform you that the Organizing Committee has decided to extend the deadline for registration to 2 May 2014 (Fri).  Please sign up to participate to the Symposium cum Exhibition by the extended deadline of 2 May 2014 (Fri) and do NOT miss this wonderful event.

Dear Colleague,

 

Further to my below message, I am pleased to attach the 2nd Announcement (Flyer) on the Symposium Cum Exhibition "Quiet Construction: State-of-The-Art Management & Practices", which is scheduled to be held on 8 May 2014 (Thursday) at Regal Hong Kong Hotel at Causeway Bay, Hong Kong.

 

The event is probably the 1st one of its kind with distinguished speakers from France, United Kingdom and Japan as well as local speakers from the public sector and construction industry to share their valuable experience in noise management and construction with the participants. In parallel, exhibitors will also showcase their latest development on quiet technologies. It will be an excellent opportunity for participants to learn about the latest development in construction noise management and  quiet construction and network with others.  

 

Please be reminded that the deadline for enrolment is 25 APRIL 2014. More update of the event will be provided in due course.

Dear Colleagues, 

 

I cordially invite you to join the Symposium Cum Exhibition "Quiet Construction: State-of-The-Art Management & Practices", which is scheduled to be held on 8 May 2014 (Thursday) at Regal Hong Kong Hotel at Causeway Bay, Hong Kong.

 

The Symposium is jointly organized by the Hong Kong Construction Association (HKCA) and the Hong Kong Institute of Acoustics (HKIOA), and will be a one-day programme with distinguished overseas speakers from France, United Kingdom and Japan as well as local speakers from the public sector and construction industry to share their expertise and experience in noise management and construction with the participants. In parallel, there will an exhibition with exhibitors showcasing their latest development on quiet methods/equipment as well as mitigation measures for construction noise.

 

Attached please find the symposium flyer & programme for your reference. The deadline for enrollement is 25 APRIL 2014. At present, the Organising Committee is working hard for the symposium and more updated information will be provided in due course.

 

The event will definitely be an excellent opportunity for participants to learn about the latest development in construction noise management and the state-of-the-art practices for quiet construction. It is expected that the event would benefit the acoustic professionals, noise control practitioners, architects, building contractors, site engineers and developers, and contribute to protecting the noise environment in Hong Kong.
