Dr Clief TANG Chi-kong

Dr Clief TANG Chi-kong graduated from the University of Hong Kong, Department of Mechanical Engineering, with Bachelor of Engineering in 1997 and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy in 2000. His research field was related to fluid dynamics and acoustic. Dr TANG is working in Hong Kong Accreditation Service, ITC, ITB, HKSAR as an Accreditation Officer in providing accreditation services for laboratories, certification bodies and inspection bodies. He is also a lead assessor / technical assessor in assessing laboratories, inspection bodies and certification bodies whether it comply with international standards including acoustic and noise testing. Furthermore, Dr TANG is also a Part-time Lecturer/Tutor/External Associate Staff of Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education and University of Central Lancashire, UK in teaching distance learning degree course in engineering subjects. Dr TANG is a Corporate Member of Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (MHKIE) and Hong Kong Institute of Acoustics (MHKIOA). He has served the HKIOA since 2012, he was an organising Committee Member of Acoustic 2012 and Inter-noise 2017.
