Winners of My World of Sounds - Student Competition

“My World of Sounds” is one of the activities under the global initiative, namely, the International Year of Sound, which is organized by International Commission of Acoustics to highlight how the sound environment is a key component in the equilibrium of all human beings, in their relationship with others and with the world, in its economic, environmental, societal, medical, industrial and cultural dimensions. The competition is strictly connected to the melody “We are the sounds of our world (http://sound2020.org/society/student-competition)” and its refrain. The Hong Kong Institute of Acoustics as a supporting organization of this event has held this event in Hong Kong, and is pleased to announce the following winners in the Primary School Section and the Secondary School Section in Hong Kong. One of winners, Hau-ching, CHEUNG, has also obtained the 2^nd runner-up in the primary school section in the international contest of this competition.
