Join Women in Acoustics Committee’s Support to Benji’s Centre Annual Walkathon!
 
Dear Members,
 
We are pleased to invite you to join and sponsor in Benji’s Centre (庭恩兒童中心) Annual Walkathon “Walkie Talkie” (「助言喜行...一步，幫一生」步行籌款2017) to be held at 10:30 on 12 Nov 2017 at Quarry Bay Park. This event aims at raising fund for children with speech and language impairment.
Women in Acoustics committee would be the Silver Sponsor of this event. The HKSAR Government will donate the equal amount of money on what have been received from the sponsors under this event to the organization. Therefore, we would be most grateful if you sponsor via the HKIOA by means of the following registration method:

1. Send a registration e-mail to HKIOA’s Ms. Valerie KUNG (sharpgain@gmail.com) informing your name, the number of participants and the amount of donation

2. Prepare a cheque payable to  ‘Hong Kong Institute of Acoustics’ with "Benji's Centre Walkathon" marked at the back or donate cash directly via HKIOA’s Ms. Valerie KUNG on the event day.

More details of the event could be found in the attachment. Please show your support to this meaningful event by either being a volunteer, joining this Walkathon or sponsoring the HKIOA or WIA members.

More about Benji’s Centre
Founded in 2004, Benji's Centre is a non-profit making voluntary organization providing professional one-on-one speech therapy to children with speech and language impairment in low income families in Hong Kong. Since established, the Centre has served over 3,000 children, bridging the gap of the inadequate speech therapy service in the community. They strive to provide service to those children in need before their prime time of six years old.
