23rd International Conference on Noise and Fluctuations (ICNF2015)

Dear colleagues,

The 23^rd International Conference on NOISE and Fluctuations (ICNF2015) will be held in Xi’an from June 2-6, 2015.

Under the ICNF2015 general theme, Professor Li CHENG (成利) of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University will organize a symposium on “Acoustic Noise”. Papers related to the general area of mechanical noise and vibration are relevant. Typical topics include but not limited to: acoustic noise control, passive and active control, wave propagation, signal de-nosing techniques for various vibration and noise control applications, acoustic imaging, acoustic holography and beamforming, noise modelling and mapping, noise source identification, NVH, structural health monitoring and damage detection, inverse problems, building and environmental noise, flow-induced noise and vibration etc.

You are cordially invited to participate in this symposium. Meanwhile, we shall be grateful if you could help pass the information around to your colleagues and solicit their participation as well.
