Further to my earlier message on 13 September 2014, attached please find the 3rd Announcement (Flyer) on the Joint HKIOA-HKPolyU One Day Symposium "Soundscape - Shaping a Better Acoustical Environment for HK", for your perusal and follow-up.

 Dear All, 

Further to the below message, please be reminded that the Joint HKIOA-HKPolyU One Day Symposium "Soundscape - Shaping a Better Acoustical Environment for HK" is scheduled to be held on 30 September 2014 (Tue) at Regal Ball Room, B1, Regal Hong Kong Hotel, Causeway Bay.

Attached please find the Registration Form and more details for your consideration.  Grateful please make cheque payable to THE HONG KONG INSTITUTE OF ACOUSTICS and mail it together with this registration form to the Symposium Secretary (Ms Yoyo Shek)  before 25 September 2014.

    Venue: Regal Ball Room, B1, Regal Hong Kong Hotel, Causeway Bay, Hong Kong

    Time: 8:45 am - 5:00 pm

    REGISTRATION FEE：

    HK$1,500 for general participants

    HK$1,300 for MHKIOA, MHKIEIA or MHKIE

    HK$700 for full time registered students

Dear Colleagues,
 
I cordially invite you to join the Symposium "SOUNDSCAPE - SHAPING A BETTER ACOUSTICAL ENVIRONMENT FOR HONG KONG",  which will be held on 30 September 2014 (Tuesday) at Regal Hong Kong Hotel at Causeway Bay, Hong Kong.
 
The Symposium is jointly organized by HKIOA, ME-HKPolyU & BSE-HKPolyU.  The HKIOA is exploring if SOUNDSCAPE could be introduced into Hong Kong planning mechanism so that a more proactive acoustical intervention could be in place to supplement the passive way (like erecting noise barriers etc.) of dealing with our environmental noise problems. The HKIOA has pleasure to invite the world renowned speakers to talk on and discuss with us this important subject. Attached please find the symposium flyer for your reference.
 
The symposium shall be open for registration soon.  Please mark your calendar and reserve your place to attend.
