Dear members,

Please be reminded that HKIOA 2014 AGM will be held at 7:00pm, on Wednesday, 12th March 2014 (reception start at 6:30pm with drinks and light refreshment), at the Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club, Kellett Island, Causeway Bay, Hong Kong.

We are pleased to announce that Ir Antonio Chan, Director of the HKGBC shall be our guest of honour and speak at the forthcoming AGM. Mr Chan is the Vice-chairman of the HKGBC Policy and Research Committee and Executive Director of REC Engineering Company Limited. He is a professional engineer and a practitioner with solid experience in implementing different green solutions in the Triple Platinum Rating Hotel (BEAM Plus, LEED & Green Mark) and Three Star Rating (PRC) – Holiday Inn Express SoHo, His project has demonstrated and proved to all industry stakeholders that green solutions can be implemented with a reasonable payback period. It is our privilege to have Mr Chan to talk about the hot topic of green building and its relation to the acoustic profession. Don’t miss this valuable opportunity to gain insights from his sharing at the AGM. The charges for the dinner are HK$ 100 for members and HK$ 200 for non-members. Please see the attached Norification for the detail of the AGM.
