Acoustics Consultant, Hong Kong

Wilson Acoustics Limited (WAL) is a consultancy firm founded in 2005 specialized in noise and vibration control for railway operation and tunnel construction. WAL provides wide-ranging acoustic consultancy services for buildings and railway developments. Our clients include MTRCL, Delkor Rail, Eiffage Rail, Getzner Werkstoffe, Toyo Engineering, and major tunnel contractors (Marubeni, Leighton, Gammon, Nishimatsu, Penta-Ocean, Maeda, Chun Wo,etc.).

We are looking for talented and enthusiastic individuals to join our growing acoustics team. Our team is currently working on a wide range of projects across in sectors such are construction noise control, railway noise and vibration control. We are looking for strong candidates with a desire to develop their careers in acoustics consultancy.

We are particularly interested to hear from candidates interested in the following roles.
Senior Consultant / Principal Consultant Job Description: - Leading a team of 5-10 Consultants/Assistance Consultants - Overall project management to meet the quality - Site Supervision and review tender & contract. - Supervise research on new products and innovative ideas - Salary: HK$33,000 - $60,000 (Negotiable) Requirement: - Minimum experience: 6 Years for Senior Consultant 8 Years for Principle consultant - Hold corporate membership of HKIOA (or equivalent) Graduate Engineer/ Graduate Physicist

Job Description:
- Take part in our continuous research of noise control products and technologies
- Finite Element Analysis using Strand7 for structural vibration responses analysis
- Track Decay Rate Analysis using B&K Pulse 3560C and Force Hammer;
- Rail Roughness Analysis using CAT (Corrugation Analysis Trolley);
- MTR Competent Person (Track) (CP(T)) for conducting railway measurements;
- STI, RaSTI, SPL, RT prediction using Renkus-Henize EASE;
- Overnight site work required on average once a week with night work allowance
- Salary: HK$13,000 - HK$18,000 (Graduate Engineer)
   HK$11,000 - HK$16,000 (Graduate Physicist) Requirement:
- Degree qualified (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering or Physics or a related subject - Preferable with Knowledge in Finite Element Analysis, Contact Mechanics, Vibration Transfer Mobility
