Edward is a Hong Kong acoustician with over 10 years of expertise in the field. Currently serving as Environmental Protection Officer at the Environmental Protection Department, his responsibilities include noise planning for residential and infrastructure projects, as well as managing noise barrier retrofitting programme and acoustic R&D projects. Prior to joining EPD, Edward worked in the acoustic consultancy sector, specializing in building sound insulation, room acoustic design, and mechanical services noise and vibration control.

Besides MHKIOA, Edward holds professional membership such as UK Institute of Acoustics, Acoustical Society of America, and Institution of Mechanical Engineers. He is a Chartered Engineer recognized by the Engineering Council. Edward has contributed to the Membership Sub-Committee as Co-Opt member since 2024.
