Technical Webinar: Construction Noise Control Innovative Cases Sharing

Programme Highlights:

Challenging noise control solutions were adopted for major infrastructural projects, including: Central Kowloon Route (CKR), Hong Kong International Airport Three Runway System, Relocation of Sha Tin Treatment Works to Caverns, Tseung Kwan O – Lam Tin Tunnel (TKOLT), Trunk Road T2, Tung Chung New Town Extension, etc. 

 

The webinar will share the following innovation techniques:

  • Acoustic camera applications for high performance noise enclosures and acoustic doors
  • Retractable noise barrier, movable noise enclosure and horizontal cover for ground openings
  • Tuned Mass Damper (TMD) for Hydraulic Breaker and Sheet Piling
  • Other Noise Control Innovative Trials

Speakers

Ir. Wilson Ho and Mr. Dragon Tsui, Wilson Ho and Associates Limited 

Wilson has over 25 years’ experience in noise and vibration control for construction sites. He is the Founder of Wilson Ho and Associates Limited and Acoustics Innovation Limited.

 

Dragon has over 10 years’ consultancy experience in construction noise control, specialized in infrastructural construction noise permit mitigation design, tunneling groundborne noise and vibration control from Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM), and Drill and Break/Blast operation.
